Methodology

The INNovaSouth model allows SMEs to enhance their workplace innovation by increasing the employees’ motivation and productivity.

This innovative methodology is based on a matrix of best practices related to the four fundamental pillars that are drivers of innovation:

For each of these categories, 5 workplace innovation practices are identified, according to the duration of their implementation and distinguishing between practices that can be carried out free of charge and those that involve an outlay of money.

MANUAL

The Online Manual of Good Practices on Workplace Innovation is a useful tool for those SMEs that need practical advice on possible innovation actions to implement within their companies to improve their organisational processes and increase their competitiveness.
It will include inspiring case studies to give an idea to SMEs owners and employees on possible concrete actions to undertake.

Within the Manual of Good Practices, the SMEs will find a selection of workplace innovation practices relevant to the four main pillars,
along with an interactive self-evaluation questionnaire that allows them to identify their specific needs.

FOLLOW THEIR LEAD...

From 16th March until 3rd June 2020, many SMEs located in Sicily and Thessaly applied to the INNovaSouth call to obtain a Voucher worth 8.000 €.
Companies selected as recipients will now be able to implement Workplace Innovations such as Smart Working, Lean Management, Job Rotation, provision of valuable benefits and many others, with positive effects on employees’ wellbeing and, as a consequence, on their productivity and on the competitiveness of the whole firm.
